Goals:
The couple wanted a relaxing space with coastal aesthetics, emphasizing natural materials and a connection to the outdoors. The design needed to include guest accommodations and low-maintenance features.
Challenges:
Balancing an airy, open feel with sufficient privacy for guests was a key challenge. The property’s location also required weather-resistant materials to withstand coastal conditions.
Process:
We used a soft, neutral palette with touches of blues and greens to reflect the coastal environment. Large windows and sliding doors were incorporated to bring in natural light and connect indoor spaces to outdoor patios. Low-maintenance, weather-resistant materials were chosen for durability.
